As we all begin to think of the holiday season (and for my last post this year), I want to leave you with some food for thought.
1. It’s the season of love and giving, so of course treat yourself & loved ones, but don’t do this in a manner that would damage the progress you’ve made in your financial freedom journey (definitely no bad debts should be taken out for this purpose). The below made me chuckle, but it’s so true – even with so much money and the information to treat us in hand, we definitely aren’t getting anything for Christmas from “Mr Amazon”, so be like him & spend sensibly.

2. When setting your new year resolution/goals, remember to include your financial goals. More importantly, remember that you need to take care of more than just your finances, as it intertwines with so many other areas of life and you’ve got to find the right balance, as focusing and succeeding in one area, will still leave you wanting.

3. Bear this in mind fir 2021: it all starts with a dream, conviction and then action. So believe in yourself and your dream and then go out there and do the work.

4. You are never too young or too old to start out, just start (and don’t let naysayers steal your dreams) no matter what age you are, so plan for 2021 to be the year you start taking steps (no matter how small) towards achieving your dreams

Finally, just to say a big thank you for following and reading my blog over the last few months. I’ve enjoyed, learnt and unearth a lot about myself through the process. I hope the content has useful.

Hope to see you back here in 2021.
